What Diseases Do Rats Carry?
Some diseases can be spread directly by rodents and some others which can be transmitted indirectly.

Rats can run upwards in the vertical direction on any rough surface, your house outside the wall provides a rough surface for rats to climb up and go into your roof voids. The bricks, rough concrete, and even the weathered metal can also be climbed up by rats efficiently. They can go up on wood, stone walls, and many plastic surfaces too.
