Aphids and Mealybugs
Aphids and mealybugs are the most common garden pests, practically attacking any vegetable. Aphids appear on the shoots and buds, and it is easy to detect because the new leaves sprout wrinkled or because of the presence of ants climbing up the stems to collect the molasses that these excrete and protect them. They are authentic “babysitters“ of aphids. The sooner you treat them, the easier it will be to remove them.
